- 3 tbsp brandy* (optional)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 - 3 whole cloves
- 1 lemon slice
- 3/4 cup boiling water
In a small sauce pan or kettle, bring your water to a boil.
Pour the brandy and honey into a mug. Stick the cloves into the lemon slice or you can use a small piece of cheese cloth to wrap the cloves in, and add to your mug. Top up with boiling water and let stand for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.
Put on your cozy sweater and slippers, cuddle up on the couch and sip on your hot toddy. Take a well needed nap and feel better soon!
*For a non-alcoholic Hot Toddy, remove the brandy from the recipe.
